This is a copy of a spring chart and their respective theoretical FPS outputs from a website called Wisconsin Airsoft Wars. The place of business and website are long since gone, but I figured there wouldn't be a problem posting this. Triggs' notes: Systema Springs - Decent quality, but the coil design is harder on a gearbox than other brands and could lead to pre-mature failures. Madbull Springs - One of the brands to avoid. While the springs hold their tension well, even when they are left compressed, the wire thickness is much greater and creates much more stress on the gears and many times will not work without an extremely large battery even with the same FPS ratings of other brands. Guarder Springs - One of the best brands of springs, they hold their tension well, even if left compressed for some time. The Guarder springs do have a tendency to shoot much hotter than their listed FPS, but it can be anywhere from the listed FPS to + 20-30FPS especially with the SP110. PDI Spings - The PDI "percentages" are not to be confused with other brands using the ~% scale. PDI is considered one of the top brands due to their cycling "softness." PDI springs are easier on gearbox internals than other brands, but seem to loose their tension easier than other brands. - Will add other brands/notes
