It arrived just before I left work on Tuesday. I hooked up a battery and it cycles. i have yet to run any tests on it yet and need to get the factory grease off. First upgrade will be a KWA 2GX Bucking most likely followed by a 6.03mm TBB. Stock photo as my phone does not like sending pictures lately. [EDIT] I put a mid cap through the rifle and as expected, it shoots like a dream. It gives me more range that my M4 without modifications to either rifle and the accuracy is good even at long range. When the snow disappears, I will be setting up a small range in the back yard and get some better idea of range and accuracy. DBOYS knows how to build their AKs!

I bought a JBU 6.03 TBB yesterday from Youngs so now I just have to install it and see where that goes.

Installed the JBU 6.03mm Tightbore barrel and it shoots straight and true. Outside of adding a sight mount, I think I will leave it be as it is sweet and silent.

Boris has bought an upgrade to the AK. Air Rattle had a nice sale on a King Arms GP30 with 3 X 40mm Shells for dirt cheap! So hopefully the beginning of next week, I will be mounting the launcher on the AK or for fun, the RPK. }>

GP30 mounted and fits like a glove. This build is DONE! (At least until I need to replace the gearbox after seasons of abuse)

Classy!....but from playing with mag changes on my SR47....just how exactly can you swap mags with that GP-30 grip, it looks very obstructive...

As found out, it is rather tight to change magazines with the GP30 mounted on the rifle. The best way is "bumping" the empty mag forward (as shown the popular Call of Duty video game franchise)to free the mag well. After that, it is wiggling the loaded mag into the mag well for a fresh mag.
