I wanted one of these yrs ago when KART offered one.By the time I got into a position to finally get one,the company apparently went out of business.Yrs later when gas rifles became more practical I decided to build my own.I happened upon two broken WE M14'S on eBay,and snatched them up.When they arrived I got to work. After doing the research on the project,I decided to fully RA upgrade it.After cobbling together a functioning rifle from the two,I proceeded to install ALL the mechani cal RA upgrades made for the M14.I decided against the RA inner barrel because in my reading I discovered straightness is a hit or miss issue.I decided instead to lapp the stock barrel, and install an ML Decepticon 70 bucking instead. While digging around on the net I found Troy Industries MCS chassis's on sale for half off.I scooped one up,and the furniture and optics I would need to finish my project. As it turns out the WE M14 is not 1:1 scale,so to get it to fit inside the chassis would require milling. After careful measuring where the trigger group fits into the chassis,I milled it to fit.Rifle slid into the chassis smoothly.Im not going to go into the specifics on furniture or optics. Those that are into this should know what most if not all of them are already.I will field questions for those that dont,or any other question about the project.
